hi i'm on Camp Pendleton and i fish the lake on base alot lake Oneal . just wanting to know if anyone else for the base fishes the lake a lot and if you're catching any crappie. i haven't been in about 7 months you can guess y so i'm ready to ge tback out there and prove that there are fish ing hte lake.

Welcome to the California board, I havn't fish that far south, several of the member have. My best guess is to go to a tackle shop and buy a Western Outdoors News, paper. It is real good and packed fun of imformation. I know there are good lakes in So Cal, one of them have a monster bass 25+ lbs. every one has tried to catch some have but for some reason it always get released.
