    Question Ultrex stow "lock" issue...

I've begun installation of my new Ultrex and have run upon an issue.

Everything has gone as expected up until I installed the stabilizer bracket and rod. The rod isn't the issue...

Upon lifting the tm to install the threaded rod into the stabilizer bracket, I noticed that the unit does not lock into the stow position. (All is as it should be in the deployed position.) After messing with it for a while, I can "manually" lock it by using the two tabs that protrude out the sides. ( I guess that's what the release cord is actually attached to. ) It feels almost as if it's binding in some way, not a smooth "pop" into the lock position.

It's as if the spring mechanism inside isn't strong enough to bring the "lock" back into place.

Has anyone had this issue? Did I miss something prior to attaching the tm to the bracket?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thx

Beavz....I don't use the stabilizer arm on mine so I can't help you there if that's causing your problem but I can tell you if I don't pull mine all the way back with a good tug it will fail to lock in the up position. It really takes a hard pull up to get mine to lock. Hope that helps.

I finally used a little Aerokriol and work it until it loosened up a bit. All is fine now...
