    Default Seat base

Wanting to find a low profile seat base that isn't very deep to put a middle seat in my boat that I can take out and put in when I need it. I was wondering if there is one that's no deeper than my ribs. Any suggestions

You need about 3 or 4 inches for most of the ones I have seen.

    Default Seat base

I can't tell what you're floor material is and your the length and width of your span looks bigger than mine for sure BUT what I did was attach a 2x4 (sealed) to the base of the bench seat point at which the floor sits. It's solid and brings the angle to level. You can then position your base in between a set of ribs. Attach some aluminum angle underneath to your bolt pattern to strengthen it up if u want.

Dunno if that'll help but it's what I did
