    All of the rod racks I've seen mount with screws to the boat. I wanted a rack that would mount on the T slot too. The T slot material is aluminum, the rest is steel. 3/4" square post, 1" square for each tier to make them adjustable, the tiers are 1/16" sheet steel.

    Search for posts by RCC from a couple of years back when he was rigging his boat, seems like he had built a couple of pole holders that mounted in the T-slots on his boat.
