I use the 5' lite for Blue Gill/She'll cracker and jigging deep water structure when I am sitting on top of it. I mainly use the 7' elite for casting a slip bobber and jig for Crappie it allows me alot more depth before the stop hits the reel.

Stupid send button. With Solo jigging reels with 15lb braid. The reason I keep a pair of everything is because my wife is usually my fishing partner. So when she gets hung we just swap rods.

I just bought another GX2 ultra lite rod 7'. It feels like my other more expensive crappie jigging rods. The action is fast and light. Good feel in the hands.

I have the 6 foot M model. Throw 8 lb braid on it. Great rod. Have a 5 ft ultra lite with 4 lb Stren on it. Love them Ugly Sticks for finesse

This makes me feel a lot better about using this one for the said application, was a little concerned maybe to stiff but your pictures prove it's not! Thank you
