6" purple with white tail is a killer followed by solid black. Both have sickle tail.
I love the flukes... watermelon candy, watermelon red or baby bass have been killers for me... but try adding a 1/16th tungsten bullet sinker on there... still deadly as all hell for very shallow bass... but they will get down a little deeper when needed to to go after those lunkers in the deeper cooler water. But this season flukes have been a very deadly plastic I can't go without.
Fishin' fills the time until College football season
Culprit 7 inch worm, red shad color.
My choice is a black/blue 5" Tiki Worm, T-rigged weightless on a 5/0 Gamakatsu hook...very versitile

5inch senko Green Pumpkin/Black flake on #4 wide gap
Give a man a fish and he eats for a day. Teach a man to fish....hmmm...and live on a teacher's wages? Just give the guy the flippin' fish already..
After fishing with a lot of different soft plastics this season I have had various results. But last Sunday I believe I found what i like the best. I caught a limit of largemouth on the Zoom super speed craw in watermelon red. I was flipping/pitching them around a shaded bank with structure just off the creek channel. Best I've done all year!

I love fishing a Yum Houdini Shad in either Smoke Shad, or Blueback Herring, paired with the best hooks i have found yet... Moaner screw in hooks in a 4/0 weightless application. You can not beat moaner hooks for the money...well no major gushing about them here, but if you want some info on them please feel free to email me. Gamakatsu quality for substantially less money....I fish the Houdini with a full tail, not modified, and i often insert a nail weight in to the body if i need to fish them deeper.
If that one does not trigger i switch soft plastics *but not hooks, gotta love the screw locks on those Moaner hooks* to a 5 inch senko in watermelon gold flake.
