Default great day for smallmouth

Man did we hit the smallies Monday. The water was about 20 inches below normal so the fish were highly concentrated and were really on the feed. We managed to put about 70 smallmouth in the boat with at least 20 over 15 inches. We kept a limit of 10 for the table and released all the rest. I also managed to land a 17 inch walleye and had a catfish in the 28 inch range right up to the side of the kayak ready to be landed when it decided it had enough and snapped my line. All in all it was a great day.

normall the large rock on the left is almost completely under water

me with a decent one

That is one awesome looking place for fishing. How is the fishing in the summer? I would like to come up that way and fish during summer break.
