Default Bass while trolling for crappie

I caught this bass at one of my favorite lakes pulling crankbaits for crappie from my kayak last Saturday. I went across a hump beside the channel and it absolutely slammed a #5 Shad Rap in glass black color. She pulled 25 feet of drag and jumped twice before I got a net under her. It was quite a fight on a light action rod with 6 pound test line, especially when normally catching crappie on it.

Nice fish and they put up a heck of a cite on light stuff. Don't catch many on the lakes I fish but once in awhile. One time I was reeling one in about 2 lbs, then looked and had 2 more around 4 lbs on 2 12 ft poles with around a 100 ft of line out. Both jumping and carrying on. Was quite a site. Managed to get all 3 in and no tangles.
