Default best small UL lure

Hi guys,

I am a big ultralight fisherman and I was wondering what is the best small lure for small bass? I normally use a strike king bitsy wiggler and I just catch bluegills and small crappies. Thanks.

A charlie brewer slider worm/grub on a Charlie Brewer Slider head. PERIOD

Charlie Brewer designed it to be used on 4lb test with UL rods. Ray Scott is even promoting it on his new ultra light Bass tournament series.

Personally, I prefer Yozuri Snap Beans - look them up online @ Cabela's.

Have you tried the Strike King Bitsy Pond Minnow in silver color? This has got to be my all time favorite small lure. I catch everything on it.

Otherwise, small "0" size Mepps Aglia spinners catch a lot for me.

I fish a lake in VA with some FREAKIN HUGE BREAM and have thankfully, never had that problem. Hope i never do.

Are you using the little thumper tail grub or the 4" worm? I use the 4" worm myself.

In southern Pa. the king of the ultra-lites is the RAPALA F3 floater in Perch or Hot Steel.

Bass, Gill's and Perch knock the heck out of em!

Want the best ultra-lite lure. Try a Rooster tail spinner. Color and size is your preferance. This is probally the deadliest lure made today. A close second is the Panther Martin.

Rooster tail is always good as well as a bettle spin. Plus I like Bill Norman's Little N series. They make them for crappie or bass difference is the colors you can get them in. I had a freind wear me out on a white Little Bill bass fishing last winter. I don't go fishing without one in the boat now.
