AT academy sports they sell a series of crankbaits called H2O, the are identicle to Lucky Craft and about one third the price
Got more than a few of these in my tackle bag! Defintely decent lures or the price.

If you're fishing lite stuff, look up the 1/8oz strike king spinnerbaits. Name on the package is mini king. They take a beating and hold up and put a lot of fish in your hand. White, chart, and black and blue work well for me. Small shad lookin cranks also do well, don't forget to stall now and then on the retrieve. If topwater is your game, Rebel has some tiny chugger baits and minnows that also take a beating and keep catching fish. I throw all these on 4 or 6lb line.
    Wake me up early,
    Be good to my dogs,
and teach my children to pray.

If I only could own 3 bass lures it would be 1. a 6" natural color creme worm
    2. Smithwick devils horse
    3. broken back minniow for shallow work
    Don't spank your minnow

Yeah, works great. But, I am not particular about the color as all the colors have worked well at one time or the other.

I think the reason the fire-tiger colors works so well, in our areas, is because most of the water is stained. I too have caught bass on all of their colors. This is a great bait for catching bass.

It sure is a great bass catcher. For those that do not know, there is a mid and baby size also.

this time of year a #7 shallow shad rap in shad color is hard to beat
up in the creeks as the water is starting to come up and when spring hits
you can not go wrong with a saltycraw in smoke or pumpkin seed color
and these will work all thru the summer too i fish mostly plastics as
they are a little easier on the bank account also in the summer months
i use plastic worms the 6" to 8" electric blue pumpkinseed and junebug colors
    are a good choice
