Default Seriously - how big is this bass?

Going through some pictures and I came across this one. Unfortunately I never measured or weighed it. Might possibly be my biggest. Estimates please! I know its not a wall-hanger, but I definitely don't catch one this size every day

... due to the picture not giving much in the way of measurable comparison (like a cooler or your arm/body).

    And ... I wouldn't discount it as a wallhanger !!

I'd venture to say it's in the 6-8 pound range ... based on the fact that it looks as though your fist would fill its open mouth -- and my fist fills up the mouth of my 7lb wallhanger (my fist is 4" wide)

    ... cp

Well, the good news is that i released this fish and it swam off. I remember where i caught it and it was a VERY small pond.

    Default Wild Guess

This is just a wild guess as there is not much to reference to ... between 5 & 6# ....
(Looks like a FL strain and the have larger mouths for their size)

I would guess that fish had spawned out. A 25 in fish on lake Kississimmee will weight about 10#. I am sure that fish weight is less than 10#.

But if it was my pic that fish would weigh at least 12#. No lie!
