Thread: Arkansas Fish Attractor Regulations

What are the rules on putting out fish attractors?
Can you put out pvc trees or do all material have to be natural?
Lake Ouachita more specifically.

Yes there are regulations on placing fish attractors in Ouachita but its easy to obtain permission. What you do is simply go place them out at a known quality fishing hole then foward me the gps coordinates. I will document the location and even guard it for you when your not able to fish it.

Other than that there are no regulations I'm aware of.

Technically you are supposed to get permission from the Corp to put anything in there lakes. They want to make sure no one is putting anything hazardous in the lake. They also don't want any trees cut around the lake. Ouachita has a lot of cover in it. If you can learn to effectively fish the weed beds you'll have all the cover you need to fish around.
