Thread: SWEPCO Lake

Anyone plan on fishing SWEPCO anytime soon? The ramp is open now, but you have to park at the ramp across the street.
I went Saturday and it was nuts over there! The lake is only 500 acres and I bet there was 40-50 boats out there! I got there at 6:30 and the parking lot was darn near full!
Fishing was tough as well. I think it was because the lake had risen 5 feet earlier in the week and muddied up the water.
The bass we did catch were nice though averaging 3 pounds.

Any idea how crowded the lake is during the weekdays? Tuesday and Wednesday specifically. Thanks.

It's not to bad, just get there early just before the sun comes up!
Weekends are definatly insane!
