I talked to a guy that was wearing the crappie out here. Have any of you all ever fished it?

ive fished it several times with a friend and its a great lake for crappie. BUT you do have to live in the either the city limits or the county to be a member. I believe its faulkner county. hope this helps

ifish it pretty often .fishing not to bad, it gets fished real hard . lots of pleasure boaters, skiers, jet skis and they dont mind getting within 20ft of you while you fish.not a big lake ,you can go from one end to the other in about 5min, with a 40hp boat. launch price is killer,. $10.00 per trip if from conway,or $50.00yearly. $50.00per trip or $500.00 yearly if your from out of town.

you're right about that launch price. I don't guess I'll be fishing that lake anytime soon.

I live in Faulkner County and not sure where this lake is. Can anyone tell me where it is located or how to get there?

It will take you right to it.

I have fished that lake once before and found some decent crappie. However, Overcup is also a great crappie lake that is not too far away. I talked to the owner of the landing down there and he claimed that when the water around his docks starts to freeze you can tear them a new one. Never got to give it a try, but if you are in the area it may be worth a try. Good luck.
Anyone been fishing Conway down under the overpass just past Bates Field and Stream. Great deep channel that has some flat areas around it that are accessible from the bank.
