news from Crappie unlimited
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Guys,,I got an email today with a new idea from Crappie unlimited. I told Glen I would post it on the board. Sounds like a great idea I told him and to count me in. Here it is below....
we have had some new developments in Crappie Unlimited you might be interested in.
We have been bought by Anglers Unlimited
www.anglersunlimited.org
Anglers Unlimited is a 501c3 Non Profit Organization
and are partners with the Bill Dance Porcupine fish attractors company
run by Larry Harper.
We have contracted with Mr. Harper and bought a pretty big inventory of fish attractors.
We are currently in the process of Rebuilding our websites to annouce this new information.
Our plan is to stop sending out the membership stuff currently used by Crappie Unlimited due to our inventories and the cost.
(Bottom line is that we spend 10 to 12 dollars for a shirt to send a member add the shipping and we have at 15 to 17 dollars that goes back to the member
Membership is $35.00 so we actually see max $20.00 per member to build fish structure to support our mission. WE HAVE DECIDED THAT WE CAN DO MORE!)
HERES HOW
As soon as we get everything in order and out websites up and running
We are going to give 1 FREE PORCUPINE FISH ATTRACTOR every new member or renewal. (34.95 value)
You will have 2 options
We will ship it to you (member will have to pay the shipping)
or
We will put in together and put it in one of our local lakes (you choose which one) Weiss, Neely Henry, Logan Martin, Martin, Guntersville
and send you the GPS Coordinates for it.
With this plan every dime from memberships will go to making fish structure. .
We send you one free porcupine attractor
we use the other $20 dollars to put in 2 more attractors
We have now put in a total of 3 attractors in a lake somewhere per member where
in the past we could only put in 2.
Thats a 1/3 increase in habitat and really helps our cause.
What do you think of this idea?
