Thread: Old Town Lake

Any of you ark. guys got any info on old town lake close to W. Helena? Havent been in 20 yrs. Cant rem. if it is open enough to spider rig or if its single pole country. Appreciate any info.

Old town is shallow and full of stumps. Slow motoring around and fantastic jig country:D

Or you can old school and dip a minn'r under a cork!!!:D

Yeah Mister jim you can spider rig there. Water is shallow. I'd suggest using corks. Most guys I see spider fishing are out in front of the school. Though if you hold off until mid march they'll be running to the back and spawn mostly out in late april.
