Hey guys, I haven't been on here for a while since hunting season opened but I really need your all's help. I live in the Satillo area near Conway and keep seeing people fishing right off the Clinton Hwy on Parlarm Creek. What are they fishing for or catching????? It is only around 3 minutes from my house and I keep seeing these vehicles parked there fishing and have no idea what they are fishing for. Any help will be more than greatly appreciated.
Not sure what there fishing for but watch out if you leave a truck and trailer there. Numerous breakins and thefts from the place. Have a buddy they took his tires, trailer, and everything in the truck.
Shoot us a report if you find out if the fish are biting
Gooch, I think you might be referring to Palarm Creek Landing. This place is right off of Clinton Hwy. There's a bridge that everyone has been parking at and fishing the creek. I went down there this morning and they are catching crappie! Apparently they have been catching quite a few out of there and some real nice ones at that. When I went it had slowed down or really been fished "a lot". There were at least 10 vehicles there when I got there. I did seem some nice slabs caught, but not a bunch. I should have gone there when I first started seeing those cars parked there......Day late and a crappie short.....![]()

Hwy 286. Take the 129 exit in Conway and go east on 286.
yes they have been buying bait from me for about one month, they have been catching crappie off and on fairly regular.also referred to as the double bridges,i have been sending anglers there for the best bank fishing lately
I went through there right before Christmas and that pin oak flat to the west of the bridges had more water than I'd ever seen, wonder if all the silt coming into lake there has raised the creek level. When I saw it I thought "duck" and certainly not "crappie".
