    First, welcome to the forums.
A little more info might help. Do you have a boat? If so What is your setup? What types of fishing have you been involved with up until now? Of the fishing videos you have watched what style of fishing seems to interest you most? That kind of thing. Just about any body of fishable public water in the state has crappie so the options are endless.

    Hi,
I have no boat. Up until now i went fishing and caught whatever was biting that day. I used mostly Night crawlers as my bait. So mostly caught Catfish and Bream/Sunfish. Now i want to get into Targeted fishing Like Crappie fishing. I was thinking of buying Intex Mariner 4 as i understand it could be really hard to catch fish from the Shore. But i can't buy anything other than inflatable because of Storage problem.

As you can see i am kinda lost . Any kind of suggestion would be great.

    Thanks

I am too just getting back into, as I did it mostly with mydad when I was Alot younger. I have notheard of people catching any on Lake Norrell.I went to check at Cox Creek at Leola but it was raining by the time wegot there and wife did not want to get wet.We went Maumelle a couple of times launching at Jolly's, no luck, wechecked out the other ramp by the bridge and might try that area next.Lake Conway is on my hit list as well.We have caught a few at White Oak (in-lawslive near there) and a few on Lake Degray.Back in the day as a kid, my dad was loyal to Little Fir on Ouachita, notelling how many milk jugs we filled up there each year.

Rasfan --- One thought is - do you have some family close by where you could keep a small boat. Or a friend that could become your fishing Buddy.. Some public storage places has RV and Boat areas for folks in Condos or Apartments -- check to see how much the boat storage is.. the good thing about them is the places are inside Fences with Cameras for security

For bank fishing the opportunities are more limited. I have caught crappie at Cooks Landing below the lock on the river side and the hydro plant side. Also the HWY 89 bridge at Lake Conway. Any other bank fishing locations I couldn't say. I hope this helps some.

keep an eye on the fishing reports, lisas bait shop seems to give an extensive report on all waters near you.

Another possibility could be a kayak. There is also a forum here for kayaks and small crafts. I personally enjoy kayak fishing though I do it more targeting walleye and small mouth.
