Default Stake bed idea. Let me know whatchall think..

Ive been seeing man made stake beds being posted and have read some of the comments. Some good some bad. I got an ideer.. could I use 4 or 5 fake Christmas trees, possibly could get 3 beds out of each tree. They seem pretty durable and would provide tons shade and safety. Some trees are made where you can detach each limb and some just fold up.. either way i can cut them off with a pair of dikes. After reading some legit comments on not enough shade and safety, and seeing pics of a few made from just pipe. Why not substitute the bare looking pipe with parts and/or small bundles of the fake Christmas tree limbs? Just an idea of mine, I've never made any but if I do I wanna make good ones. Please let me know what y'all think. Y'all are really good folks on here and I appreciate all the info I get from y'all. The wind of this world blows so hard and fast it's a miracle to find time to breathe. MAKE time to do what you enjoy. And take a youngin, they need something other than computers, phones, and video games. Take a sip and rip a lip fellas. Thanks for any advice on my ideer.

Personally i think it's a great idea and not much worse than contraptions i see in the structure forum. Always make sure game and fish are ok with before sinking! IMO crappie will find and thrive on natural hardwood better. I have started taking block an nylon rope and dragging good looking laydowns from the shoreline myself. Pulled one half a mile across lake not long ago and sunk. It's easier to me to do the work on spot. Good Luck👍

If the artificial branches are made of metal (has a metal spine for support) it is not allowed. Metal is one of the few materials that we ask anglers not to use for fish structure. If there isn’t any metal in the artificial tree branches, I would think that it would work pretty good.
