Lake Greeson this week
Been over at Greeson since Friday, 3-16-18, grillin & chillin. Not much fishing to report because of the high water, but we managed to catch enough to have a fish fry last night before coming home today.
I caught a total of 9 and my buddy, Perry, caught 8. All were big black males in 3 fow around buck brush. Some spider riggers were catching big females out in 30 fow.
All in all, we had a good week with nice pretty Arkansas weather and good food on the grill each afternoon. Visited with nice folks who were camping around us and pretty much just got some much needed R & R. GTT

The lake is still about 5 ft high with more rain expected next week. The spawn may be so far back behind the trees and buck brush that only a rare few standing guard on the outside get caught. We could smell fish in several places, but there's 10-20 feet of water behind where you can fish. Once they go shallow, they'll be relatively safe from fishermen.Originally Posted by LowePro
