    Default War Eagle 861 Predator

I am interested in a used 2014 War Eagle predator. However, it is in another state so I can't look at it without considerable time and expense to get there.
Can anyone tell me the width measurement between the two outside seat bases on the front deck?? I hate to be cramped when fishing two guys up front and that is about the only complaint I have heard on this style of boat. Thanks for any help.

The guy that is selling it works off shore and won't be home for a while to measure it.

I love my 2008 861 but it is basically a single person boat for spiderrig fishing. Using offset seat poles and average size seats can give alittle extra room. However, if you use millium seats it narrows back up. I fish mainly trolling either jigs or crankbaits so this isn’t a issue and I fish alone 90 percent of the time. I have balance issues and the sitting down in the hole created by the side storage is more important to me. They are great boats just have their own limitations similar to other styles. Might get a wareagle 961 owner to measure their base width.

Thanks Hawgdog.. That is pretty tight fit for a couple of big butted guys to be sitting side by side !! My current boat is 30 inches between the holes and that is still pretty tight. Just means you have to turn your seat towards the water side of the boat to get off the deck. Not much room to do that as you have to dodge rod holders, etc. I like the Predator low deck, but I don't think I would like spider rigging with someone sitting in my lap either.

My 2013 860 is 36 inches between factory in stalled plates. You are probably going to have to have the owner to measure them.
    Tell'em I'll be there.

I called War Eagle and they said it is 26 inches center hole to center hole on the seat bases. Said it was the same for the 961 Predator also.
Thanks crp4570 thanked you for this post
