I was able to fish today, same strategy as the "schneid" post: tightlining w/ jigs & swimbaits in 1-2 ft of water. very nice day today with very little wind. I started catching fish right off, just not much size to them. They weren't biting real well, though. I had 3-4 good size fish bite, & when I set the hook, they just let go. I saw several fish swiping at the baits, in a "reaction" type bite. They just wouldn't hold on long enough for me :D to grab by the lips. I wound up catching around 25-30 fish total, but only had 11 keepers. biggest 2 were around 13", and again, no hogs. Wound up with a good mess though. I saw a lot of fish hittin' the top of the water also. probably could have thrown a Pop-r out there & picked up a couple of green carp. Had a great day though. I got too busy to take any pics today, but when I get some hogs, I'll be sure to post them!
