There is a couple of catfish holes I know of on the Arkansas River you might want to try if no trips open up for you this weekend. Also there are some areas on Lake Maumelle that you could try casting a jig for crappie.

Just let me know if you want the details. I will be deer hunting this weekend so I wont be going.

If you can't find a boat I'd suggest hitting the hydro-spillway on the north side of the river at Cook's Landing.

Yep, I'll be parking cars and such on Friday. For crappie, I know that you can get into some good bank fishing up at Lake Conway. It's about 20min from LR.
