Default Where to start on Maumelle

I'd like to finally get out on Maumelle this weekend. I know it's a pretty big question but I was wondering if anyone could at least point me towards a part of the lake to start out at. With how high Nimrod and some of the other lakes are I figured this would be as good a time as any to try out a new Central Arkansas place.

Sweet, there's a lot of water on that lake and it's good to have a place to start.

Send a PM to Bigben 7 or just get the public PVC condos coordinates for GPS.

Anyone have a recent cost to put in at Jolly Rogers? I know it's a tough lake, but it is close which is appealing when it's going to be tough fishing everywhere.

5$....give it a few warm days and they will be staging on the grass line...that's when it gets fun!
He said, "Throw your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some." When they did, they were unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish.

I caught a few last Sunday evening on the west end on some old road beds....13ft deep.... Mostly males.....if they have moved up get in 6 or 7 ft of water....throw to the bank slow roll out till you hit the grass line and let it drop.....if they r there you can catch some 14 to 15 inchers

If you have a 25hp or less, go up the road about 1/2 mile past the bridge, and launch for free at the AGFC ramp.

That would be nice and I have a 9.9 on my jon, but I have a brand new boat with a 70 that I really want to get on the water, ha... Sometimes impracticality wins.

Looks like the vote is on the west end of the lake and look for grass beds, channels, and old roads.
