I had a disk removed from my neck and a piece of donnor bone stuck in 2 weeks ago. Went for a check up with the doctor yesterday hoping to be told I could go fishing now. Instead was told not to lift more than 8 lbs. and that I have to wait 4 more weeks for an x ray to see how the fusion is going before taking my boat out by myself.......he did say I could maybe go a little if someone else did all of the work of hooking up the boat and did the launching and loading etc. and the water wasn't to rough......Anyway I hope everyone else has some good fishing and keep posting those pics.....I'll get mine eventually!
Sorry to hear that. I would love to take you out; when and if I ever do. Working for a living sucks.

2 Chronicles 7:14
"If my people who are called by My name will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from Heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land."
Sorry to hear...but dont push yourself! After healing there will be lots of time. If closer wud gladly let you ride along if I ever get on the water myself.
Was that a bite? Forgot what they feel like!
Hope you heal swiftly and completely....we'll keep in our prayers friend...
Man I hate to hear that Tory. If you need a fishing fix just hollar and we will go out on the pontoon.
Sorry to hear about your neck. I know what you are going through. I had two surgeries on my lower back two years ago and it was a long time before I got back on track, but now I'm fishing everyday. There will be better days yet to come for you! Good luck with your neck and with your future fishing.

Hey guys thanks...I really appreciate the kind words. I shouldn't be whining about it because I'm doing really well. This one has been a piece of cake compared to my back surgeries. It's just a little frustrating feeling so good and not being able to get out and do anything. Especially after reading all the posts about the fish turning on, but I'll be back out there pretty soon playing catch up. Until then keep those posts coming and I'll be fishing vicariously through you guys. Good luck and tight lines to all!
