Old River... again
Temps in the mid 50's, but still no crappie in the bushes. Tried mostly shallow (3-5'), but also a little deeper (5-8') stuff, no crappie bites. Bream are moving up in spots, and the LMB were fun to catch. It won't be long boys, and they will be in the bushes... thick.
In wine there is wisdom.
In beer there is strength.
In water there is BACTERIA.

It's a oxbow lake down near Scott. I have not fished there in a while it's a private lake you must live on the lake or know someone. Their is a old rod and reel club up at the north end of the lake but I bet the waiting list to join is still a mile long. I used to catch many crappie on the lake in the winter in the deep water. Then move out in the flats during the summer. I sold my lot a few years back and have not been on the lake since.
