just wondering if any one has been and what is going on thanks for info
Heard from a friend Just minutes ago said 2 weeks ago they caught about 70 in 6 foot of water by Hise landing. Only a dozen passed size restrictions. Said they caught about 30 bass as well. He heard big ones are being caught out on the lake.
TT
had a buddy go up and fish the lake on the 14th they caught 9 fish, none of them very big, said they fished from the mouth of lick creek plum up to the brush, and just didn't have much luck.
CATCH,CATCH,CATCH,CATCH,CATCH if you can't catch'em enjoy trying
I have heard this form 2 different people is that there in 6ft of water and being cought in 2 to 4 ft of water and better around ledges and dropoffs by the banks cought on jigs this was last week
Hadnt made it over ther yet but...Have heard they are passing out 15-20 tickets a day for the Visual distress regulation! Never had one b4 but it is being enforced now over there. Also new supose to have 50ft of rope on your thowable floatation device. The VDS is just a flag you can pick up for 7$ for daytime and a flare gun for nights. Supposedly only have to have if craft is 16ft or longer? I picked one up today but my craft is just 15 1/2 gonna see if they try to give me grief over it! Ticket is 175$!
Was that a bite? Forgot what they feel like!
what kind of flag is it and is this a new regulation i cant find it in the fishing regulations
Here is a pic. The regulation is found on page 37 of the boating handbook. It is for federally controled waters and Blue Mtn,Dardanelle,Nimrod and Quacita are just a few lakes listed on page 48 of the handbook. Hope this helps a few avoid tickets!

My nieghbor went over today and brought home 11 nice size crappie. he said they were all at the edge of the brush in 4 ft of water fishing 1.5 to 2ft deep. Took my old boat to Paris City lake to run since it has set so long at caught 2 crappie fishing with minnows under a slip cork 4 ft deep and several bass. Now ready to get over to Blue Mtn after the storms roll thru tomorrow!
