Thread: Cash River?anybody fish it

Anyone fish cash river and its oxbows,sloughs

Never fished it, but we've killed a boat loads of ducks over there...:D


And as I was once corrected also by the internet spelling police...it's the Cache :D

We used to do well on the Cache around Gregory, but only in the fall when it would clear up.

I have and know lots of people that fish it, water is too high now, needs to be down to 19 feet and below to get right, when the water drops low enough the big bass boats can't get past the mouth is the best time to go up in there. I go in from the White River at Clarendon.

I fished a few oxbows/sloughs in the Egypt area but cann't fish them anymore,farmer is blocking them off.

Just wondering if any oxbows around the newport area that would be fished or farther on down river....thanks
