Old River
Went to Old river over the weekend. Man, it sure was beutiful weather. Did some fishing, but I wish there would have been some catching to go along with it. Fished everythign I knew how to, and still only got 1 bite, but figure it was a yellow bass from the reports of fish being caught in that area that day. I was everywhere from 2.5-15 fow, using everythign from minners, to jigs, black/chart, white/chart, pink/green, blue white, white, pearl, sparkle pearl, red/green, sparkle red/chart... and the list goes on and on.

From the folks I know that fish Old River, it is just a tad early yet. Catching is spotty. I heard there was a bunch of boat traffic Saturday. Made it hard to fish. May try to silp off down there one afternoon next week after the time change.

I have a buddy that lives on the lake and I use his launch every now and again.
