Default Lake Conway Report (Pierce Creek)

Fished several hours from Pierce Creek toward hwy 89 bridge and around toward the dam, not many caught but the ones we caught were of quality! 7 fish weighed in and released. Total weight 13 lbs. 6 oz. with largest one weighing in at 2lbs. 6 oz. which was a big healthy female. Give it two three weeks and watch out as they will be right, probably just in time for tourny!

Good for you! Fished Lake Conway Sunday - didn't even get a bite. Gold Creek, Gold Pond, Cypress trees, minnows, jigs, tubes, grubs, the works. It took the fishing spirit out of me for at least a week or too.

Thanks for the report Dennis, Rest assure I will be down that way sometime in the near future. Wow 81 boats and counting this should be some Tournament, even if I was'nt fishing in it, you can bet I would be at the weigh-ins. Seems like I heard that Mr Wally Marshall/Mr Crappie will be there, I have never met the man, but as a Pro Fisherman, I admire the way he share's information and makes himself available to the public. Heck the man puts his personal phone number on here for people to call. That's Awsome stuff.

And for you Dennis, let me take the time to give a big THANK YOU for all the hard work you put in to make this Tournament happen man. You have done a Great Job Coordinating, getting sponsors, and keeping us informed about the tournament. I am sure the CrappieMasters will return next year because of the hard work you put in. Im a big fan of yours and pulling for ya in the Tournament brother. Thanks Again for working so hard to make this event happen. Good Luck in the tournament and God Bless. Russ

Thanks Russ and as always your support is greatly appreciated. But to be honest, I have a 63 year old father who's health is not what it used to be that I would love to see win this thing. He's never fished in one but he's a great fisherman and very often takes me to school on how to catch them.

My efforts on the tourny are only to bring something exciting like this to central Arkansas. I know there are people who are not in favor of the tourny but I think even those will agree it will bring a huge economic impact to the community.

Good luck in the tourny as I expect you to be one of the top 5 as your skills on the lake are second to none. By the way, NICE BOAT!!!!
