Thread: Burnt Cane today

Went today to check out my new rig. 9 mile was high and muddy. Went to the run out and it isn't gonna fall much more as the level was near the top of the rocks and little was running out. 7-8 anglers and few caught fish. I was not all that impressed with my new 25 etec's speed. 28 gps was about it. Of course my set up is way off and will stay that way. Put me long with 2 batteries and a tank of gas or 2 in the back of about any john boat and you will slow down. My 997 worked better than I expected right out of the box. Found a passel of new deep water cover. Also could see why my regular holes were so good.Couldn't believe the possum cop was out there with so few boats. Hardly worth the effort.

new e-tec and 997????...guess we can tell who has all the money....or at least did...:D....congrats on your new toys...28 isn't too bad unless your racing all those hot rods over at the refuge!
