    Hail all,

i sure am enjoining this spider riggin, BUT i got to looking at the last pic of my set up and said to myself "Humm a spider has 8 legs not 6. 6 would be insect rigging"

So guess what....i bought 2 more trolling rods now i fell much better that that i will be anatomically correct...LOL

i have 2x 10' forward, next are 4x 11' and 2x 12' and wow does it take a while to rig up!

    Good fishing all

Go fish Mellwood for a while, and you'll get real good at rigging poles.

Don't you just love those HiTeks??? I like 8 rods and usually use 16' x 4 up front then 18' x 2 then 16' x 2. Looks like you have a good setup!!

That's a good looking setup you got there! Complete with a diet coke to further the relaxation.

I don't run but 4 rods....don't see how yall can keep up with 8 of them jokers
Hooking up every chance I get!

Come up to Nimrod , I always enjoy watching the spider riggers find a brushpile with all 8 poles. All kidding aside it works . That's the way the old timers still fish here. I perfer the verticle jiggin brushpiles and stumps.

    Since you brought it up,
You are not in LRJoe's spot in the top picture. YOU ARE IN MINE!!! I haven't found the hydryla that you did in the 2nd picture.
I haven't met you yet, but, your pictures reveal you are built like me. I bet you can't reach those rods in the front of your stick steer very fast when one of them yeller bass try to steal your rosy. I can only mange 4 rods at a time at arms length.
I love seeing the pictures of the little girl checking your catch out.
