Thread: Lake Erling produces enough for fish fry

Daughter requested enough fish for fish fry at mom and dads house and at home all fsih must be fresh caught all frozen fish are taken to deer camp or given away well needless to say considering my numbers so far this week I was mildly concerned but knew that trying to come up with the fish necessary would be fun valiantly started thursday morning before daylight and at noon only had 10 good fish mildly concerned turned to apprehensive fish camp neighbor brought me a load of bamboo and plastic buckets for future condos asked him if he wanted to go for afternoon fishing trip and that I needed help collecting enough fish not to be embarassed great neighbor quickly rose to the occassion and off we go where he thoroughly smoked me on the water but all to the good we ended up with 35 nice fish more than enough for the fish fry so my pride will remain intact its really nice to have great neighbors who will come through in a pinch.

I did our annual family fishfry a few weeks ago. This year, I took a differnt nephew on each trip. I tried to make sure all of them made at least one trip (about 10 of them old enough). They all had their chest's stuck out because "they" caught the fish this year.
