    Default Hurricane Lake WMA

    Has anyone fished any of the small lakes in this WMA. Such as Whirl lake or Big Hurrican or Glaise Creek? If so what is it like? Thanks Roughneck

    Have fished them all, but right now the river is up and I'm pretty sure the gates are closed. All this rain has everything muddied up.

    I haven't been up there in a few years. Hurricane was my first fishing hole when I moved to Arkansas. This area is definetely a Summer time area for me. I don't want to bother the duck hunters. Plus I got lost twice while trying to find my fishing holes when it was flooded. I loved fishing there; I have just found fishing holes closer to home.

    I am sure those lakes are high and muddy and will be getting higher and muddier.
