Thread: Jonesboro Area Info Needed?

I am on my way to Jonesboro to look at a boat. Could anyone recommend a motor shop I could take the rig to have the motor checked out? Is their a lake nearby that is easy to load and unload to check out the boat? The motor is a 60 2 stroke Yammy. Any input is appreciated.

Gladish Marine is near paragould. They do really good work. About 40 minutes north of jonesboro. There is also a place near gladish you can run a boat in. The owner's name is Wes. He can tell you where you can run the boat.

cockleburr ditch at Mangrum landing about 3 miles south of Black Oak or lake Poinsett. Stay close to the dam if you aren't familiar. Frierson near the dam.

Props plus or Camptown Marine in Jonesboro. Props plus is located on the bypass headed north towards Bono, Camptown Marine is located on hwy 49 (stadium blvd.) headed north towards paragould.
We have craighead forest park lake in town but not sure if a horsepower limit but do know there is a no wake restriction on the lake. The next location would be lake frierson bout 20 minutes north of town and the Lake Poinsett bout 30 minutes south of town in Harrisburg.

Where is Camptown Marine? Do they work on all makes of motors?

Camptown is on hwy 49 north as your headed out of town toward brookland. If coming from Lepanto get off bypass at NEA Hospital on Stadium. Continue to take stadium past Arkansas State headed toward paragould. Once headed out of town its on your left shouldnt miss it. their number is 870-268-0033 if any questions
