Thread: Horseshoe or Peckerwood

Anybody fished either of these lakes the last few days? If so, please give us a report.

last weekend peckerwood was letting out TONS of water and i wonder if they had the gates open

Go to Peckerwood, you will see me there in the morning. Ive caught a limit 3 out of the last 4 days. Fish in the channel by the metal stobs, jig off the bottom.

Thanks for the report, but it turns out I was laid up with a cold all weekend and am not much better today. I would like to have one good trip before deer season and duck season start.

Where is Peckerwood? How big is it?

It is between Hazen, AR an Stuttgart,AR on Hwy.11. There is a sign on Hwy.11 showing you where to turn, its about 3 miles down the gravel, or you can go to the Red Barn. You can see the red barn on Google Earth.
