Thread: Jig fishin' Kate

Caught 15 using black/chart tube jigs on Kate Adams lake this AM. The river is still in it but that Mighty Mississippi is on a slow fall. The bite was a little slow but they were in 7 FOW and in the brush. Fun anyway! Methinks I may try again tomorrow!:D

I grew up in Arkansas City fishing Kate Adams brings back alot of memories. Haven't fished it in years. Glad to see crappie being caught in there I had heard that the lake was not as good as it used to be. Good Job.

Better than it used to be. They built a levee on the south side to keep the water there year round. You can get to the pothole anytime even when the river is out of it. Improved the lake.
