    Default Fishing question

Hi to those who live across the state line. I am from Louisiana and I'm planning on traveling to Arkansas to do a camping/fishing trip. It's a toss up right now on what river to fish so I figured I would get some advice from this awesome site! The plan is targeting smallmouth on the buffalo river or the king river? Haven't decided yet. Next is the time of year. Middle of may or end of September? If anyone has any experience on these rivers and the best times to fish feel free to fire away. Thanks

water levels in september can be low, that being said if the are right the fishing is usually good then, if you chose the buffalo take time to go to crooked creek one day of your trip, its only about 45 min away and you wont be sorry . in the right conditions it is the best smallmouth fishing you will find

Thanks rll! Which river do you think will be the less crowded? I may have to check crooked creek out as well!
