Definately too hot to fish. Went fishing for some green carp on lake columbia last weekend. kept 5, but nothing worthy of posting pics of. When it is too hot to fish, it just just plain to hot!

Hi Guys: SOS for me too. Doc says too hot for a guy with a bum ticker to be out there. Got stung by a scorpion last Sunday, played heck with my blood pressure for a few days. But, getting back to normal, gotta call VA tomorrow to see if they want to adjust by BP meds. Can't wait for it to cool down. Allen, I sent the night stalk story to a local angler news paper and they said they ony wanted local news. So I offered some of my fly fishing stories, but they said they already have a fly fishing editor. So on it goes. I did get a metal detecting article published in Pop Up Times (a camping mag), but they haven't paid me yet. Hope it cools down soon. Tight lines and keep cool, remember the old saw, "Mad dogs and Englishmen go out in the noonday sun."

Haven't been out in a month. Might try Smallies on the Spring River at the end of this month

I've been fishing a little in the early mornings, but with this heat I plan to try it a couple of nights this week. It sure has been hot but the weather forecast is calling for a little cooler temps by the weekend.
