Minnows are working find fished 10' to 15' below a slip bobber. Try docks that are near the mouth of major coves or that are on the main lake both that are close to the channel. Shade is a plus. I usually fish from Shaddux hollow South into the rivers. They need to be in at least 25' of water to hold fish. Brush is a plus but the bigger or shadier the dock is it shouldn't matter.
Good Luck!
