do any of u guys know of any crappie holes close 2 jonesboro other than portia & horners bay and poinsett lake thanks 4 any info

poinsette, Houge, bar pits at Ashbaugh (canal behind the lake aslo in early spring), charles, etc...

The bar pits at Ashbaugh. Are you talking about Red Line that runs into the refuge?

Start looking at the chutes off the Mississippi! If you are able to drop a boat into some of the back water or oxbow areas, you will be in heaven.

If you want to start easy....get familar with Frenchman's Bayou.

It's been years since I was there, but I used to hit it every week-end.
