Default Lake Barnett

Spent about 3 hours on Lake Barnett this evening. Fish activity all over, but no fish. Met someone spider rigging who was just leaving as I arrived and he had no fish either. He did give me about a dozen minnow though, so if you happen to be on here, thanks.

I know there has to be some good crappie in there. But I have been there twice and yet to put a fish in the boat.

I have fished the lake with a guy who lives close there and bass fishes it all the time. He says all the fish are down towards the dam. I have caught a few crappie and a few bass out of there, all have came from the dam. I havent been there since early last spring. There were several trees cut down and laid in the lake all down both sides did you try around any of them?

I went to the open water and worked my way back to the ramp. I'll have to try the dam next time. I have caught several in the creek before, so I know they are there. Water is still high though, maybe that has em shut down.
