Has anyone been to Cane Creek lately? They should be ready to turn on there in two or three weeks.

Ahhh! Thanks there DP. Caney Creek Lake at Star City should be getting close. Should be some 4 pounders coming out of there this year. My friend Steve (Jerry took pics) took some 3-3/4 pounds with shiners under bobbers there last fall. He's fishing it now.

Sorry about being slow to answer; I've been gone (darn work) for 31 days. Yes I meant Star City; it should be getting right soon with this cool weather.

i made my trip to cane creek today but have very little to report . 0 crappie! 6 small bass. i talked to or overheard reports from 4 other boats same type results
