gotta pick just one! not based on what works best, but what's your favorite way to catch crappie?

    dipping and jigging

    slow troll and holdn on

    cast and retrieve

    on the drop line slacker

    bobber under the water

rigging and waiting for the pole to bend

lawn chair on the dock :-)
Why do I have to press 1 for English?

    Default Most fun is...

Dippin around pads and structure. You can cover a lot of area where they are. Tried the trolling, really boring for me. Never really used a slip cork before, till I got to florida. Dippin with one of those gives you something active to do. If you have never tried to put your bait in an opening 3" between pads, 12' away from the boat, it is something to sharpen your skills.
A bonus is that you never know what your gonna get. It most likely will be a crappie, but have caught huge shellcracker, big bass and even channel cat.

I am a long time bass fisherman. Flipping, jigging and dropshottin is the way to go. I do a lot of spider rigging and trolling, and catch a lot of fish, but drop shottin is the POO!

I got the inside info on Yates . That old boy can catch a fish in a septic tank. If he said it is true!

    Ours is trolling and casting.

Trolling is the easiest for us. Would like to learn more about other techniques though.
