Cane Pole you ever put any boo out? I have several times and I know the first time I just didn't put enough concrete on the bucket and they fell over, but the others I think are still there. Problem is they are too heavy for me and my bad back so trying to get away from them as I need help to do that.
However last year I saw someone make some by just sticking boo through some cinder blocks so have you ever tried that?
I have some willow that I have to take down anyway so am going to do them soon just to get them out and away from my boat house.
Also have always hear willow is best, but some guy around here said he thought Sweet Gum was best so do you know anything about that? If they are I guess I should have not cut every one I had down except one I still have on the bank.
I like the easy way PVC is, but is it as good? I have heard it works, but not as well and would love to know what others think about that.

Have you ever tried regular bushes tied to a couple of concrete block. I use Rose of Sharon bushes cause they are pretty open and easy to grow. I too like to use fruit tree's and always sink standing up in a role of say 3-5 around 3 foot in between each one.

I have put out bamboo, but with Crappie Stalker and Fatboy's help. We put it out in buckets with quickcrete. Most is still there, but some on the big sandy was washed away with the flood this spring. I am too old and feeble to pick heavy stuff up. I have a few plastics out old Chef sent me several years ago. They hold fish. Most of my coffee cann have wood stakes in them. The pvc is new try, so I don't know how they will work. They easy for an old man to handle and worth the try cause they cheap.
The best stuff I have ever used is just lay down brush that I tie on a couple of cinder blocks to sink them. They always hold the fishes.

Whatever falls in the front yard goes in the lake.

Looks good Tom
Where can you find wood stakes like that & how long are they?
I guess the wooden ones show up better than the PVC.....
