Default TreeFrog?????????????

Where the heck did that come from. Well, Mo'nback and I were fishing in heavy timber on a local lake and we had been using a little bait called the Bass Assasin. Everytime I would move my rod it seemed that darn Bass Assasin would just stick to something, I stayed in the trees more that day than the birds did I told Mo'nBack that these things are like TreeFrogs and I guess thats where it came from. Thats what I still call the Bass Assasins now when Mo'nBack and I go fishing

A country boy is just what I am. And I heard this song by Nappy Roots - Aww Naw with the chorus:

Them country boys on the rise!
With them big fat wheels on the side!
Peep them vertical grills on the ride!
And aw-awww-awww-awwwww!

well I guess i can start by saying that when I started fishing years ago I did'nt know that crappie had paper lips so every time i set the hook (hard) I ended up with lips,
and no fish, therefore the name crappie lips stuck

I've had dreams of owning a salt water fishing boat...I'd name it "Sabbatical". Kind of like "The other Woman". If anyone called the house, the wife could just say "Sorry, he's out with the other woman. Or Sorry, he's on sabbatical. When I found this page, it seemed like an easy combination Slab-Sabbatical....Slabbatical.

My boat is a 15' 8" Champion Mean 16, designed by Jon Storie. I can't resist a play on words, hence "ShortStorie" I used to be "Lowelife" (on another board) until the transom gave out. Liked that name.

my other hobbies include geocaching. i had to come up with a trailname and it was in the height of my fishing (i've slowed down a lot these past few years due to family obligations), so i used it. on Yahoo there is another crappiefisher, so my yahoo name is crappiefishergirl
