Lakeview carp hatch questions

Went to Lakeview today and had a slow day. 3 keepers and one ticked off pounder bream. The carp seem to be breeding there cause the hatchlings were jumping everywhere. Do the crappie eat these hatchlings? The three crappie that I caught were in very poor condition. Have there ever been any other hatching take place in the past? Dude was picking up a 30lber dead on the shore at the ramp. Nasty suckers!!

I don't know about if crappie eat the carp hatchlings, but some people must, because they have a cooler full of em for sale in the lakeveiw fish market, and was told that alot of people buy them.

Mem. Slab, I don't think those carp at the market are the silver asian carp. But I could be wrong. I have heard that they aren't a problem in China, those folks will eat anything.
