I think they will spawn about any where as long as the water tempis right. During high water i have caught em full of eggs in the middle of june.

That's what I was thinking. The fish this morning were 4' to 6' in about 15 FOW. Going to try and go back this weekend sometime.

I think they do. Me and a buddy caught 16 keepers at Butla two weeks ago in treetops 6-8 FOW fishing about 18 inches deep. We caught mostly large females full of eggs with a few blackened males mixed in. Most of the other folks were catching fish very near the bank in shallow water.
