    Had almost 5 inches of rain since Fri. night.I didn't get to go this weekend because of work sat. and too many things on my honey-do list today.I did not see too many people on the lake except for a couple of boats.Probably be good for catfishing the next 2-3 days.

    All the rain we had should get us closer to summer pool of 260'. I was beginning to think we would not make it this year.

    The new water made fishing very tough Sunday. We had to fish a little tournament and of I think 29 that entered, 6 weighed and they only caught 11 or 12 with the winner catching 8. Lots of really good fishermen, didnt weigh. Me and partner didnt catch a keeper and we tried everything we could think of.
