Paid $22,500 + . 21 out of the 36 teams in the 2 day tourn were "in the money".

thanks for the link - wonder if you have ever heard of a club,
out of Memphis I think, call "Troll Mates"? I have searched the
web hours on end and can find nothing about it... I think it is supposed
to be a couples thing - my wife couldn't be hog-tied into fishing with me
anymore, but my 8 year old daughter thinks she wants to fish some.

yes, I've heard of the Troll Mates. We had a member or two of ours fish with them in the past. Unfortunately, I have no idea how to contact them.
Magnolia Crappie Club would love to have you join us. We fished the Tenn Tom twice this year--once out of Aberdeen and once out of Columbus.
Plus we fished Enid and Grenada.

I'd be glad to send you membership app.

    Default thanks!

I appreciate the invite, I am interested in tournaments, got to get some
things squared away first though, mainly my ridiculous work schedule.
Think I need a new boat too, but not really I guess. Got to work on being
more flexible with my fishing, too. I am lost in shallow or muddy water.
I'm usually obsessive in whatever I do, and don't want to be dead last place
every time if'n I can help it. I have never crappie fished below Bay Springs much, those places you mentioned strike me as having to jig brush, and
I'm skeered! I despise being in less than 10' of water most of the time,
or getting the boat up in timber. I guess mostly that is because of all the
time I wasted fishing standing timber at B.S., never did any good in it.Jeff

George Perry is president of Trollmate Crappie Club 662-363-2228. Call him for details. They do not have a website.

I've been looking at a lot of clubs, but the magnolia $50.00 entry to me
is more than I can stand - I'd be fishing with my daughter, so no one to
split it with, fuel same story. Maybe I just need to keep on "meat fishing"
and forget the tournaments... In another post, fellow says "only" $50.00
entry - just wonder what the average median income of a Magnolia crappie
club member is - that is like my whole weekly budget, for commuting, fishing,
    smokes, everything I buy...
